Now, this early in the season, some teams are now facing some problems. Let us go into those teams and analyze the situation.
1. San Antonio Spurs
Here is a fact: Their wins have been close except their victory against the Knicks. Another fact: Tim Duncan simply can't carry this team into a good record with some journeymen and some players who still need polishing until both Parker and Ginobili return. Duncan is simply having a hard time carrying the offense. Why is that so? With him now being the only focal point of the offense, the opposing team's defense now clamps up on him and at times, he can't rely on his teammates. Tough times are really ahead for the Spurs.
2. Chicago Bulls
With Kirk Hinrich out for 2 to 3 months, the Bulls are left with a problem at the point guard position. Sure enough, they have signed Lindsey Hunter to back up Derrick Rose but then, Hunter is not really good offensively but he is a good defensive guy. They can try Larry Hughes or Ben Gordon to play the point but then, both are not really your players with the point guard mentality.
3. Washington Wizards
Currently, they have a 1-6 record which is good enough for 5th in the Southeast Division. With Gilbert Arenas out until December to say the least, Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler should carry the team offensively. Sadly, poor defense is killing the team. And these guys are good. They simply have to do it with some killer instinct that has been missing all season long.
So far, these teams have the biggest injury concerns. The injury gods are simply not favoring these teams as of the moment. Way to go!

ARSENAL BEATS MANCHESTER UNITED 2-1
Awesome game from the Gunners. Though not a Gunners fan, I can say that they really are back. The fire is there. They played well both offensively and defensively last night. Nasri had a brace and was key to the Gunners attack. Walcott played courageously and not surprisingly, he played well and managed to play even though he is not a hundred percent.
United's defense was again somewhat poor last night. The first Nasri goal might be deflected but the Gunners really had tons of chances. Bendtner wasted some good chances for the Gunners. I wonder why but I honestly think that Carlos Vela must be used more than Bendtner.
United just really could not attack well. That offside goal on the Berbatov "goal" might have caused some confidence problems. Rooney was just not himself. Ronaldo was missing shots. Tevez did not provide the spark. That Da Silva goal at the 90th minute was good in my opinion. United had their chances but the Gunners defense was just superb.
The Gunners attacking was just really exceptional. Their defense really was tough and made it hard for United to attack. Really a superb game but I question the officiating again. Poor calls were made and both teams were not given some free kicks which should have been awarded to them. Overall, the Gunners deserved the win.

BASEBALL TALK: FREE AGENCY
With the offseason ongoing, lots of teams are now trying to get guys who are on the free agent market. Now, I, being a Yankee fan, wonder on how the Yankees will play this offseason. I think of the following people as targets that the Yankees should go after:
1. C.C Sabathia
This guy was awesome for Cleveland and Milwaukee. He eats up a lot of innings(He had 10 complete games last season) and I can see no problem with him adjusting to the New York life.
2. Mark Teixeira
A first baseman who got traded to the Angels during the midseason of last season, he is a good hitter - always putting the ball in play. He also has some power and an awesome glove at first which the Yankees sorely need.
3. A.J Burnett
He opted out of his deal with the Toronto Blue Jays. He had his career season in his 2008 campaign as he had 18 wins, pitched 221 1/3 innings, and struck out 231 he batters that he faced. This is a guy who can pitch well if healthy and the Yankees can surely use an arm for their starting rotation which was a big problem last season.
4. Orlando Hudson
This would be an option if the Yanks decided to trade Robinson Cano who just had a sub-par season. This guy has a good glove at second and can also hit well.
I say that these four are the best targets for the Yanks. Giambi might be back but I don't see it coming.
