THE INJURY CRISIS

Now, this early in the season, some teams are now facing some problems. Let us go into those teams and analyze the situation.

1. San Antonio Spurs
Here is a fact: Their wins have been close except their victory against the Knicks. Another fact: Tim Duncan simply can't carry this team into a good record with some journeymen and some players who still need polishing until both Parker and Ginobili return. Duncan is simply having a hard time carrying the offense. Why is that so? With him now being the only focal point of the offense, the opposing team's defense now clamps up on him and at times, he can't rely on his teammates. Tough times are really ahead for the Spurs.

2. Chicago Bulls
With Kirk Hinrich out for 2 to 3 months, the Bulls are left with a problem at the point guard position. Sure enough, they have signed Lindsey Hunter to back up Derrick Rose but then, Hunter is not really good offensively but he is a good defensive guy. They can try Larry Hughes or Ben Gordon to play the point but then, both are not really your players with the point guard mentality.

3. Washington Wizards
Currently, they have a 1-6 record which is good enough for 5th in the Southeast Division. With Gilbert Arenas out until December to say the least, Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler should carry the team offensively. Sadly, poor defense is killing the team. And these guys are good. They simply have to do it with some killer instinct that has been missing all season long.

So far, these teams have the biggest injury concerns. The injury gods are simply not favoring these teams as of the moment. Way to go!
